Fashion Illustrator-Antonio Lopez

(Fashion Illustration by Antonio Lopez for French Vogue,1970)

Antonio Lopez is an American fashion illustrator. He was born in Utuado,Puerto Rico.Antonio Lopez was influenced by his parents,Maria Luisa Cruz and Francisco Lopez. He applied his artistic talents for fashion. He went to a high school called High School of art and Design and then to Fashion institute  of Technology.I am impressed by the way he lead his life because he went into internship Women's wear Daily and got a self a job in the publician and then he left the job and got a new position at the New Work Times.Antonio Lopez work appeared in publications such as Vogue,Elle,Haper's Bazar and The New York times. He worked with in collaborations Juan Eugene Ramos before. He also did illustrations of fashion designs of Charles James.

This illustrations give attention to the person who is viewing the magazine or the cover.
The colour that were used are combination of both cool and bright colours probably because to attract people of his works and also fashion.Illustrating fashion and a motorcycle is quite cool and real because some people really looks good taking photos with their motorcycles or cars.It makes the theme more real .

This is also one of Antonio Lopez work.
The colours that were used were bright and the clothes that were illustrated in a retro mood. The background really matched with the models itself.Women or 'fashioniasta' always need to reflect themself with mirror and to readjust their make up and adjusting everything they could with a mirror. It really gives a good reflection of fashion because a women need mirror,a women needs fashion too!

This is also one of Antonio Lopez illustrations. Not only the bright, cool colours but there are also dark colours! This illustration is more likely of a symmetrical inspired work because some of the lines that were used were sharp and edgy. For example the picture from the right. The hair are not most hair like. They are edgy and square shaped like. The background were simple simply by using lines. On the left side of the picture,it is more obvious that the work is inspired by shapes. The hair is round, the background, there's frames. In some parts of the work it feels like it is inspired by the egyptian times.
Nevertheless,i feel that the work is interesting as it is simple yet, interesting due to it's colours and shapes.
